Foundry was born from the experience and vision of Teemu, Matti, Eelis and Uku—and a shared desire to do things differently.
All of them have led major development projects and held senior positions in the real estate and construction industry. They’ve seen the sector from the inside—its best practices and biggest pitfalls. Foundry was built on a simple question: what kind of partner would we want to work with ourselves?
Teemu Rämö

Teemu Rämö has worked in the real estate and construction industry for over 15 years, most recently as Unit Director at NCC Property Development. He’s played a key role in developing and executing of the Helsinki region’s most significant commercial projects and has led large property organizations through both growth and transformation. His strength lies in big-picture thinking: the ability to see business needs, match them with the right plot and location, and build the right teams around them. Teemu’s approach is analytical, solution-driven, and forward-looking. He believes the best projects are built when trust, expertise, and a shared direction align. Eelis Rytkönen is a development maverick with 15 years in the built environment sector. A Doctor of Construction Economics who blended design, engineering, and business in his studies, he sharpened his edge through applied campus research at Aalto University and the University of Melbourne. Since then, he has led innovation and sustainability work at Fira, NCC, and Ylva, while shaping and delivering dozens of complex renovation, new-build, and large-scale urban development projects. He’s known for dismantling entrenched practices and turning messy complexity into memorable clarity. His toolkit? Contagious drive, uncompromising expertise, genuine sustainability ambition, honest data interpretation, and an inclusive approach that gets stakeholders aligned. Uku is one of the most hands-on sales general in Finland’s office market — a blend of practical sales drive, leasing process builder, and concept developer guided by deep customer insight. Before joining Foundry, he led leasing at NCC Property Development and helped shape several well-known office properties, including We Land in Ruoholahti, while also hosting the industry‑recognized Suoraan We Landista podcast alongside top experts. Uku’s core strengths include orchestrating large portfolio leasing strategies, commercial concept development, unlocking demand, and translating owners’ goals into clear, compelling and commercially viable solutions. He thrives in situations that require rapid progress, sharp sales logic, and a positive pulse at the negotiation table. At Foundry, Uku leads the leasing business — building the market’s most agile, data‑driven and customer‑centric leasing process, as well as the team responsible for growth.
