Founders
A shared vision from two industry veterans
Foundry was born from the experience and vision of Teemu and Matti—and a shared desire to do things differently.
Both have led major development projects and held senior positions in the real estate and construction industry. They’ve seen the sector from the inside—its best practices and biggest pitfalls. Foundry was built on a simple question: what kind of partner would we want to work with ourselves?
Teemu Rämö
Partner
Teemu Rämö has worked in the real estate and construction industry for over 15 years, most recently as Head of Property Development at NCC. He’s played a key role in shaping some of the Helsinki region’s most significant commercial projects and has led large property organizations through both growth and transformation. His strength lies in big-picture thinking: aligning business needs with location and land, and building the right teams around each project. Teemu’s working style is analytical, solution-driven, and forward-looking. He believes the best projects are built when trust, expertise, and a shared direction come together. At Foundry, he brings strategic insight, commercial know-how, and a clear sense of direction to every project.
Matti Partanen
Partner
Matti Partanen is a versatile real estate development professional with over 15 years of experience across various roles in the industry. He has worked at companies like Fira and NCC and has been involved in demanding new builds, renovations, and large-scale area development projects. Matti is known for spotting development potential before others do. He has a unique ability to combine vision, execution, and user-oriented thinking—creating spaces that are genuinely functional and built to last. His work is marked by strong communication skills, a solution-focused mindset, and a commitment to creating value for all stakeholders—owners and users alike. At Foundry, Matti brings deep industry insight, a developer’s eye, and genuine enthusiasm to every project.
